Shalby Academy, Ganpat University Join Hands To Train Healthcare Workers

Bhubaneswar: Shalby Academy, a multi-speciality hospital chain that boasts of 11 hospitals across the country has joined hands with Ganpat University to offer one of the first of its kind industry-aligned MBA in Healthcare and Hospital Management programme.

Along with this programme, a one-year certificate course in health, nutrition and dietetics has also been launched.

According to WHO estimates, there is a projected shortfall of 18 million health workers by 2030, mostly in low and lower-middle-income nations. The current COVID-19 pandemic has aggravated the crisis further.

The initiative is aimed at creating a bridge between industry and academia and provide industry-relevant education and training to students so that they become readily employable in the sector.

Aspirants can enrol in MBA (Healthcare and Hospital Management) at Ganpat University, Centre for Management Studies and Research, which will be facilitated by Ganpat University Shalby Centre for Healthcare Management and Research.
