NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the provisional answer key for UGC NET June 2026.
Candidates who appeared for the examination can check the answer key, question paper and recorded responses through the official UGC NET portal, ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
Along with the UGC NET June 2026 provisional answer key, NTA has also released the answer keys for CSIR-NET and ICAR AIEEA (PG) and AICE (PhD) 2026.
Candidates who appeared for these examinations can use the respective official portals to access their answer keys.

How to download UGC NET 2026 provisional key
Step 1: Visit examination portal at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. or csirnet.nta.ac.in or exams.nta.ac.in/ICAR
Step 2: Locate and click on the active link labeled “UGC NET June 2026 Provisional Answer Key Challenge” on the homepage.
Step 3: Select your preferred login method, such as entering your Application Number and Password or Application Number and Date of Birth.
Step 4: Type your unique credentials and the displayed security PIN into the designated login fields.
Step 5: Click the “Submit” or “Sign In” button to open your candidate dashboard.
Step 6: Click on the specific tab or link marked “View Question Paper / Challenge Answer Key”.
Step 7: Open the downloaded document to view your recorded responses alongside the official provisional answers.
Candidates can raise challenges against the provisional key within the window notified by NTA through an official press release. The window will remain open from August 16 to August 18 up to 11:59 pm.

The answer key has been released on a provisional basis. Candidates should check the responses carefully before submitting any objection. NTA will consider the challenges received and, after review by subject experts, prepare the final answer key. The final key will be used for evaluation and subsequent declaration of results.

Candidates are advised to retain a copy of the provisional answer key, response sheet and any challenge submitted for future reference. NTA has also advised candidates to rely only on official communications and regularly check the respective examination websites for further updates.
