NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released an advisory for candidates preparing for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) 2026.
The examination is scheduled to be held in May. Once the application form is made available, the candidates can submit applications through the official website, cuet.nta.nic.in.
The information regarding the programmes and courses offered by Central Universities (CUs) and other participating institutions is available on the CUET (UG) portal, as well as on the respective university websites.
Candidates can access and download the CUET UG 2026 syllabus from the official website.

The CUET UG 2026 will be held in computer-based test (CBT) mode for admission to undergraduate programmes across 47 central universities and over 300 colleges.
Meanwhile, NTA has said that candidates will be allowed to correct their details in case of any mismatch between the name on their Aadhaar Card and Class 10 marksheet during the CUET UG 2026 online application process.
Earlier, NTA had advised aspirants to update their Aadhaar, UDID card, and category certificate before the application window opens to avoid discrepancies later.
For the CUET UG 2026 application, NTA will obtain candidates’ date of birth, gender, and address from the UDID certificate through Aadhaar authentication, along with other required details.
However, since Aadhaar does not record the names of parents or guardians, candidates will be required to enter these details separately in the application form, as specified in the NTA notice.
